This spectacular cabin sits right on the Creek and is nestled among the pines which offer privacy, as well as a beautiful setting for your vacation. Deer and wild turkeys are a common sight in the yard.
The master bedroom features a California King bed with attached master bathroom and tiled shower. In the 2nd bedroom there is a log, king sized bed. There is also a loft with two twin beds. In the sleeping “nook” there is a full size bunk bed. In the back room there is also a futon. All bedrooms have private tvs. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combination. There is also a washer/dryer on site should you need those while you are at the cabin.
The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It is fully stocked and has a wide assortment of appliances, dishes and pans to assist you with any meals.
Relax and enjoy the spacious, yet cozy living areas. You will find a game room with pool table, a living room with floor to ceiling river rock and a 75” High Definition, streaming television with DVD player, a dining area, a sitting room where you can read and/or look out at the creek and listen to the sounds of the Creek as it flows past the back of the cabin.
If you want to spend time outdoors, we have a 7 person hot tub on the deck, a barbeque grill for cooking, a smoker, two picnic tables, and a number of rustic log chairs where you can sit, relax and watch for wildlife (the Creek is less than 20 fee off the deck and offers great trout fishing and a chilling Summer swim)
Internet/wifi is provided at the cabin and runs at 40Mbs speed. We also have a hard lined phone with unlimited long distance.
The cabin has flat parking and paved roads into it
The cabin is in a beautiful location-about a 15 minute driver from Historic Lead-Deadwood, 30 minutes from Spearfish, 45 minutes from Sturgis and 90 minutes from Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse. For Winter enthusiasts snowmobile trails, Terry Peak, and Deer Mountain are minutes away

The cabin was fabulous! The ceiling light in the master bedroom was out. There were bulbs there but the ceilings are vaulted and I had no way of getting up there. We were fine without it.

Great location, scenery, and layout. Our group of ten, four adults and six children ages 3 to 13, had plenty of room. The kids loved the hot tub and climbing around in the creek behind the cabin. The outdoor fire ring was perfectly positioned, overlooking the creek. We had issues with the hot tub on the second day, but a service person came out and fixed it immediately. Perfect location with close proximity to Deadwood, waterfalls, horseback riding, hiking and fishing.

Beautiful home in a remote and tranquil area of Spearfish Canyon. I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing the atmosphere is with the creek running right along the back yard, the wood burning fireplace, and the cozy wood paneled cabin. The cabin is located at the tail end of the scenic bypass, making it a convenient spot for a beautiful day drive through the canyon and its a quick 15 minutes or so to downtown Lead and Deadwood. The cabin is well stocked with all the basics you need and has a great view of the the tree lined hills. We cant wait to go back!

This was an amazing place to stay, perfect location for all the things we did. The snow was the cherry on top, seeing the kids faces light up was worth 1000 stars but I can only give it 5! Our group had an amazing time, the cabin was more than enough room for 8 of us, it was inviting. A phenomenal place to stay if visiting the Black Hills and its surrounding areas. It was difficult to leave and continue our trip! We beyond love this place and hope we can one day return!!

Black Bear lodge is a lovely surprise. The location is great, right at the start of spearfish Canyon Road. From the front it looks unremarkable like a small ranch style home- but it spreads out from the back down towards Spearfish Creek and the trees. There its a great deck with a hot tub and a lovely back lawn that includes chairs and a fire pit. The sound of the running stream is so soothing.
The cabin has all the amenities, including a variety of boardgames and card decks for family time. There are different seating areas to gather and visit and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for family meals.
Everything was clean and nicely decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
