This A-frame style cabin is bright and welcoming with floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors going out to the deck. The main level has an open floor plan, gas fireplace, dining for 8, custom kitchen with unique fixtures and granite countertops. The cabin has 2 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom. The loft bedroom has 3 queen beds; main level bedroom has 1 queen bed with a twin bed; lower level bedroom has 1 queen bed with a twin bed. The cabin was as expected from the pictures and listing on website. It was in a very outdoorsy area and the drive up there was very nice and scenic. It was a very nice cabin to stay at even for a short period of time. Me and my family enjoyed it very much.

wasn't sure about location, we normally stay further south by keystone but thought we'd try it here. couldn't have been more pleased, lots to do and great access to trails etc. Coming home to the "cabin" was great , we had everything we needed and more for bbq and cooking meals in. really clean and comfortable. thanks Bill, Afton, Minnesota

This cabin is so unique! Our family of 5 stayed to get away from screens and stress and it was absolutely wonderful! Waking up to snowfall and animals right below the deck was an experience i didn't know i needed. Definitely plan to stay again!

We can't say enough good things about the cabin. Clean, very well equipped, comfortable, felt like home immediately, beautiful location -- but the most impressive thing was the design. The northwoods design touches were just amazing. We were there three days and were still discovering delightful design details on the last day. We're often cautious that online listings and photos don't quite measure up to reality, but in this case, the photos don't do it justice. It's a beautiful place and our family had a great time. Our boys loved it and when we left they rolled down the car windows and said goodbye to the cabin -- really more a house or lodge. The other rental cabins in the area did get a little loud, but of course that's no fault of these owners. The sky was crystal clear on the last night and star display on the back deck was incredible. We'd love to come back next year.

Excellent choice for us. We loved the kitchen and the openness of the kitchen, dining, and living area. Very cozy. Kids loved loft and great layout so we could all be spread out. Very nice property and would highly recommend. Well equipped cabin.

Everything was great. The property was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. No wi-fi but we watched movies at night and listener to music music from the satellite tv. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Clover Hill Lodge. It was spacious for 4 adults and location was great. I loved decor especially faucets, kitchen sinks and door locks. Saw deer outside of cabin. Cabin is about an hour away from Mount Rushmore. Great to visit black hills and Custer as well. Deadwood is very short drive and is very cute little town to visit.

We enjoyed the few days we had in this pretty spot. We cooked on the big gas grill, watched deer in the yard, did some star gazing from the deck. Bed wasnt the most comfortable, but everything else about the house was excellent. We didnt venture in to Lead, any of the towns except grocery shopping in Spearfish. We took some amazing hikes in Spearfish Canyon.

We loved the clean, modern feel of the cabin. We spent a lot of time on the deck and playing games in the basement. We were really impressed by the amount of kitchen items for use. It made meal preparations easy. The kitchen sink, although very creative and neat to look at, was so difficult to use. The faucet was so close to the edge of the sink that water was constantly splashing behind the sink and making a mess. It was hard to do dishes. The layout of the cabin was wonderful. The loft area was a space that our four-year-old grandchild loved to spend time in.
