We had a wonderful stay at the Leaning Tree Lodge. We used it as a home-base to explore the Black Hills (and beyond) from. It was always nice to return here after a long day. Everything was as expected. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice with good water pressure. Plenty of room to hang out in the common areas. The kids enjoyed the foosball table at the house and pool at the clubhouse. Nice view from the back of the house, felt private even though there are neighbors. Great stay!

Overall we liked the property and how easy it was to get to and the views. It was plenty of space for 6 of us, and could probably accommodate another family easily. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms! We cooked 2 meals/day and enjoyed the kitchen equipment as well as the grill.

Our family had a great time visiting Leaning Tree Lodge! The property was exactly as depicted in the photos. Our children particularly enjoyed the spa on the deck and the great Clubhouse up the street. Even in late winter, the heated pool at the Clubhouse was a huge hit with our family. The property managers were also very helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions. We highly recommend this property for your next visit to the Black Hills.

Very good service but each time our code sent to us for the lockbox was wrong. We travel about 4.5 hours with little kids and dont leave until school is out so we always arrive late and have tired little kids and its a pain to get ahold of someone and wake them up to give us another code to get in late at night. Its usually cold, dark, and snowing when we arrive so would be nice to have that code correct and easy entry to cabin.

We really enjoy the leaning tree lodge at guilted mountain. We stayed there in February and decided to book it again if it was available in March. We love the cabin and the comfortable beds. We had to shorten our stay by one day as it wasnt available for an additional night but we like the cabin so much that we just decided to shorten our ski trip and head to rapid the last day for the water slides.

This cabin was super clean with great amenities! Being super close to Lead and Deadwood was super handy! The kitchen was fully equipped, and there were plenty of extra blankets/towels. Overall, we had an excellent experience, and we would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to enjoy themselves in the Black Hills!
