This cabin offers spectacular scenery and quiet privacy with paved roads and easy access to everything in the Black Hills! Located just southwest of Terry Peak, the cabin is minutes from the slopes, snowmobile trails and hiking trails! Drive 8 miles into Deadwood and 20 miles to Sturgis - centrally located for a great Black Hills Vacation.
The cabin offers 3 levels with 3 bedrooms + loft. The main level has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, full bath with shower, open dining-kitchen-living area with a wood burning fireplace and walk-out to the deck. The lower level has a spacious family room with flat screen TV, DVD Player and cable TV, Wii system and table for playing cards or games. The 2 bedrooms downstairs both have queen size beds and one has a built-in set of bunk beds. The upstairs loft has 2 full-size beds. Sleeps 12.
Other amenities include: central A/C, internet, washer & dryer, full kitchen. wii system, gas BBQ Grill and Hot Tub.
The Gilded Mtn. Subdivision also offers use of a classy Clubhouse! The Clubhouse is beautiful with log accents, cabin and mining decor, and the perfect additional place to enjoy your vacation! It offers a game room, outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercantile! We felt like it was more than enough space to spread out five kiddos and four adults. The home was stocked well with necessities (minus shampoo, conditioner, or body wash). Very kid friendly. The views were beautiful. The hot tub was very nice! Would definitely recommend this place, or even stay again!

This is a cabin that gives you the cabin experience! Though remote, the location isnt far from Deadwood, and Lead, which is beneficial when needing groceries, or as I did, oil for my car. Great place to relax, hot tub was amazing and definitely will return!

The neighborhood was fantastic and the pool (the reason we booked the place) was great. It was 25 degrees out and my kids still got to swim outside. Memories made! The pool was a short walk from the cabin.

The Mercantile cabin was awesome! A group of us stayed there to snowmobile, location was great with easy access to snowmobile trails from the cabin! Cabin space was very accommodating and the wood fireplace was a huge bonus! Definitely would stay there again!

We loved our stay here! There was plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the hottub and the outdoor heated pool. The weather was so perfect. Crisp and sunny. We enjoyed lots of local hikes. Friendship tower was a favorite. Great view with a short, kid friendly trail. We would definitely stay here again. Cozy and homey.

We liked it all. really liked the well trained deer everyday. they were around morning and evening and did not seem to care we were just a few feet away.
Great week! First night of stay had a storm go through with hail! with the steel roof on cabin it sounded like a marching band doing a drumline routine. All part of a great experience.
