Deadwood’s Outlaw Homestead celebrates some of Deadwood’s most famous outlaws. Take your pick sleeping in the Calamity Jane Room, the Seth Bullock room, or how about the “Wild” Bill Hickock room? Each theme inspired room will provide you with a great night’s sleep.
Located in historic Deadwood, an easy walk or trolley ride to Main Street. This 2-story home has Deadwood’s unique and classic charm, a large family room, well-equipped kitchen, reading and private relaxing spaces, game room with poker table, plus Wi-Fi, A/C, washer/dryer, and luxury beds for up to 10 guests. The enclosed front porch with café lights is the perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee or end to your day with the lights on and a glass of wine. For those perfect Deadwood nights, the backyard is a peaceful and private retreat, also with café lights overhead, and it backs up to the tall pines and hillside of the Black Hills. Lay in the hammock and relax or maybe grill out and eat dinner at the oversized picnic table; play a game of cornhole, or just sit and relax in one of the many adirondack chairs. This space has been a guest favorite.
Class and comfort extends to the large upstairs bedrooms with quality linens and décor specific to each room of our “outlaw” themed bedrooms. Whether biking or walking on the Mickelson Trail, exploring Deadwood’s historic main street, taking in a free concert at Outlaw Square, or any of the many adventures the Northern Hills has to offer. Spent the day riding side by sides, driving Spearfish Canyon, other site-seeing opportunities; this is the perfect spot to launch your day trips such as Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse, Devils Tower, Needles Highway, pontoon and ski rentals at Sheridan Lake and more. Did we mention that we have a long flat driveway that can accommodate multiple cars and/or a toy trailer. Final bonus for you is the use of the garage at no charge. This place is awesome! Our best rental yet! We vacation in the black hills every year and this was perfect for us! Beautiful home and great back yard! Loved that we could use the garage for our motorcycle! We walked downtown which is several blocks but there is convenient access to trolley just steps from the house! Spent lots of time in back yard sipping wine, grilling and laying in hammock! Had a chance meeting with owners when they came to put trash to curb! Great people and loved their dog Finley! Driveway fit our trailer and big truck with room to spare! Some of our favorite places were Jacobs Brewhouse and Deadwood Tobacco Company and Blues Bar! The pump house was great for coffee and wonderful pastries! Can't say enough good things about this home! Will definitely book again!

This is an adorable house! We loved our 5 days/4nights stay and it was perfect for our family of five!!! We enjoyed the corn hole game that they had for us to play. The porch was so relaxing and was one of my favorite spots. We brought some steaks and hamburgers from home and grilled it in the backyard. We were able to get groceries near by to get the rest of the food we needed for our stay. We were able to many different things in the area. We spent time in downtown Deadwood, visited Mount Rushmore, rode the 1880s Train, rented UTVs to go on trails around the area, and enjoyed amazing food. We feel in love with the decor and the beds were amazing and we all slept so well. The house was very cleanand well kept. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and easy. The host was very helpful before we arrived and also during our stay with suggestions on things to do and incredible food!!! We would definitely stay again.

We found this gem last minute for our stay in Deadwood. It is such a great home and had everything we needed. It was a great location to downtown Deadwood, which was great since our vehicle broke down, we didn't miss out on anything since we were just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and parks. There was even a service station a couple houses down that fixed our vehicle for us. I think our favorite part was waking up and having coffee of the front porch, so cozy! We all agreed that we would definitely love to come back and stay here!
