Really enjoyed the natural setting can home feel of cabin. Sound of river puts you to sleep! Bedrooms and kitchen were all very well cared for and comfortable. Communication from coop was clear and easy. In general a peaceful and welcome chance for our family to get time together and in peace and quiet. Thanks !

Silver King Lodge is a beautiful secret that needs to be seen on the inside vs. outside front appearance. It is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking to truly be off the grid. The added bonus of a creek running through the back of the property is about as relaxing as you can find. I read the water had a sulfur smell, and it does. I would bring bottled water simply for brushing teeth and coffee alone.
The overall comfort of the lodge was ideal, about as relaxing as a place can be. Absolutely beautiful fireplace that is open to the deck as well, we did not use it due to the heat, however i bet on a cool evening it would be ideal.

The Cabin was as pictured and described. Checking in and out was easy to do. We wanted a getaway where we could relax and enjoy time with friends and we were able to do so by sitting in the hot tub, relaxing in the creek and sit on the deck/porch. There is absolutely no service at the cabin, you need to drive about 10 minutes to get cellphone service - this was expected as it is mentioned in the listing. We were able to unplug and unwind without being distracted by technology - great reset! This cabin is in a beautiful area.

Everyone in our family had a great and relaxing time. Only thing wrong was that we didnt stay longer. We have stayed in cabins all around the United States and this is hands down the best all around cabin. The cabin is very well thought out and built very well. We will definitely be back in the fall.

The right size of place, backyard had a creek that provided us adventure and tranquility. The inside had an amazing fireplace for hanging out and enjoying conversations. Modern and well done workmanship throughout the house. Absolutely would stay again. The no wifi and cell service was a bit of a shock; but if you can get rid of the reservations of being stuck with the people you are with,it is blissful.

Silver King Lodge is by far the BEST cabin we have ever stayed at. We have been coming out to the Black Hills riding the trails for several years. We all looked forward to coming back late afternoon to enjoy the see through fireplace on the deck and to listen to the stream nestled into the mountain. Later we enjoyed going inside and feeling the warmth in the cabin.
The cabin is so unique...I wouldn't change a thing.

Great location, beautiful cabin, spacious, private, and cozy. If you want to disconnect from the grid, this place is it. Zero cell phone reception and no Wi-Fi. Perfect. Wildlife throughout the property, a running creek, and the sounds of nature. The water has the strong sulfur smell present but thats ok. Would highly recommend this location.

If a quiet get away is your plan, check out this property. Beautiful cabin, plenty of room, and cozy. Be aware, zero cell phone reception and no wi-fi. But if you head into Deadwood, youll get good connections. Last few miles are on a dirt road but it appeared to be well maintained.
