Nestled in the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota, Trail Mountain Cabin is located less than 1/4 mile from the base of Terry Peak Ski Resort. This cabin is great for all seasons and ideal for winter activities with its location. It is on a private lot with a nice sized yard and allows for privacy with the surrounding pine trees. You will find easy access to this cabin and well maintained roads in both the summer and winter.
The main level has a full kitchen, dining table, living area with flat screen TV, full bathroom and walk-out to the wrap around decks. Lower level is a master suite with King bed, full bath and gas stove. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds and an open loft area with a queen bed.
Off the back deck is a private hot tub and outdoor seating. Off the front deck is more outdoor seating around a gas fire pit to really enjoy the Black Hills evenings. In the back portion of the garage (seperate from the house) is a game room with a pool table, TV, a bar and comfortable seating - perfect for a 2nd living space! There is also a daybed for additional sleeping. This is a detached room from the main cabin.

We were arriving a little early and spoke with a team member, they helped make arrangements to allow us to come a little early and the cleaning team was finishing up when we go there. They were helpful in sharing more about the cabin and where to find items we would need during our stay.

The location and setting of the cabin is unmatched. The historic portion of the stone walls mixed with the modernized updates, provided a wonderful cabin setting with everything you need to stay in or venture out into the black hills. I would recommend to anyone.

The house was very comfortable and the neighborhood on top of the mountain was a good location for us. The wrap around deck and hot tube were great spots to hang out. The living room was very roomy and the mud room worked great for our dog especially when it rained. We also took advantage of the separate game room with the bigger TV for movie night. The location is out of the way enough to offer a quiet setting but very close to lead/deadwood and Spearfish canyon. The only downside was there is not a door for the basement master bedroom which let all the noise from the kitchen filter down to the bedroom. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house.

The cabin was very nice with a nice layout and lots to do! We loved the hot tub and firepit. The game room was very nice too! It was just a hike to get to the top of Terri's peak to get back and forth to the cabin! Overall very nice though!

The house is located on a road that loops around, providing a peaceful morning/evening walk. Hot tub, gas firepit & spacious deck were perfect for relaxing. Game room provided a fun break from the attractions. Beds were comfy.

The ability to rent this property was very simple and fast. Once we had arrived there was plenty of room for the 10 of us adults. The location of the property was also very nice. Super close to terry peak. We were able to walk to the event all 3 days. I would love to rent this property again for next year's total archery challenge. Thank you for making everything easy. We did leave a few condiments that were fully sealed for the next group.
