Only spoke to anyone a couple of time and each time they were very helpful. I even received a call to ensure I had seen the email when the code to the house changed after the original email was sent.

The stay was very enjoyable. It was the perfect size for what we needed.

For a family vacation, I loved the openness of the kitchen/dining room/living room on the first floor because we could spread out but all still be together. I also loved the second living room on the lower level because it was more cozy but still had plenty of seating/activities for everyone to enjoy. We had a lot of fun with the jenga, fooseball and hot tub, and our wii hooked up easily to the TV.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed at the Buffalo Trail cabin. We love it! Its our go-to cabin. It is so comfortable and clean! We also love the location!

Beautiful, clean cabin with plenty of room. Large kitchen, hot tub, and loft area for the kids to stay! Enjoyed our experience immensely and can't wait for a chance to come back!

This cabin was awesome and reasonably priced. As stated earlier, I would add a dehumidifier and replace the sofa sleepers. A note of caution to future rentals: The cabin is currently for sale by Century 21.

The guy in the main house wasn't very helpful with us finding a spot for our long trailer. There needs to be more room for trailers. Parking at our home wasn't very much for multiple people coming there to stay. All the people I talked to on the phone up until the trip were very helpful though.

For the most part everything was very good. One thing I did find annoying is that for a 6 day stay we only had a limited number of toilet paper rolls and ONE roll of paper towels, after that we were to buy our own. For what we pay every night we should have had more than that. We were there 6 days and I feel not enough paper products were left for us for that many days. We did have enough but had to ration it out to last and that's not fun. Although the home seemed clean I don't think it gets a good, thorough cleaning between guests. The rugs all looked like they could have been washed. Most of the bath towels left for us were really rough, after they were used and I washed them they were fine. I think someone washed them and forgot them in the washer where they dried on their own and then got folded and put away. For what we're paying per night more bath towels could have been available, I was constantly having to wash them using my own detergent because not enough detergent was left for us. The basement laundry closet didn't even have detergent, the bottle was there but was empty. Another reason the cleaner didn't pay attention to everything is that there were used dryer softener sheets on the floor in the laundry closet upstairs. Also, no hand towel was left in the down stairs 1/2 bath. A lot of small details that they were in a hurry. There could have been better lighting in the home also, there was a lot of lights but small wattage bulbs were in the fixtures.

Beautiful property The weather was cold and rainy so didnt get to go to parks like we wanted but did enjoy Mt Rushmore and activities in Keystone Was nice getting out of Houston heat for a few days!

Absolutely awesome! Not far away from Mt. Rushmore and loved how close it was to Deadwood!!
