Who We Are
Deadwood Connections is your rental agent — we represent the property owner but don’t own the home you’re renting.
Agreement Basics
By booking, you agree to follow our rules and policies. If they’re not followed, we may ask you to leave the property.
Payments
- A 20% down payment (50% for Sturgis Rally stays) is due when booking and is non-refundable.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in (by May 1st for Rally stays).
- Payments include South Dakota sales tax (6%–9%) and a 4% processing fee.
Security and Damage Protection
A credit card is kept on file for damages. You’ll also be charged a small damage protection fee ($49–$59) that covers minor incidents.
Cancellations and Insurance
All cancellations must be in writing. Payments are non-refundable, but we strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip investment.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM (late check-outs may incur a fee)
House Rules
- Respect maximum occupancy.
- Minimum rental age: 24 (we may verify with ID).
- No pets unless your property allows dogs (limit 2; $50 per pet fee). Cats are not allowed.
- No smoking indoors (violations carry a $500 fee plus cleaning costs).
- Please don’t move furniture, and leave the home tidy at check-out (dishes done, trash taken out, sheets stripped).
During Your Stay
We’ll do everything we can to keep your stay comfortable, but refunds/discounts aren’t available for weather, mechanical issues, or neighborhood disturbances outside our control. Please report any issues right away so we can help.
Keys and Lockouts
Lost keys: $50
Lockout service: $100 before 10 PM, $120 after.
Other Important Notes
You’re responsible for your guests, following local rules (such as HOA or city ordinances), and keeping the property in good condition.
